First Intervention Training Ltd is a company specialising in all aspects of Health and Safety, Fire, First Aid and Security.

Courses are varied in subjects and depth and all are tailored to meet the individual customer's requirements. The need for flexibility in training is essential as one customer's needs may differ completely to another's.

The company is accredited by numerous Awarding Bodies, including the HSE, and all personnel are qualified instructors as well as assessors and verifiers under the NVQ System.

A bit of history

In 1999, due to the imminent closure of a large oil refinery in Essex, Terry Hayes approached the 4 other Emergency Response Supervisors due to be made redundant with the idea of utilising their many specialist skills within a company of their own and so First Intervention Training Ltd (FIT) was established. The company operates from a fully equipped training and service centre in Corringham, Essex, utilising all the various skills gained over many years of experience.
